About Our Technical Writer and Designer: Jennifer Barton-Beale
Hi there! I’m Jennifer…your sublimation guide source, perpetual crafter, content writer, a successful sublimation business owner, and a proud US Air Force Veteran.
Just like you, sublimation piqued my creative interest and wanted to find out more about what sublimation is and how to get started on sublimation. For several months, all I did was read, research, and take notes. Lots and lots of notes!
I wanted to find out what is the best sublimation printer for my budget, what else I needed to start sublimating, how to design for sublimation, and where to get my sublimation blanks. There were so many information about sublimation but they were scattered throughout the internet. I had so many bookmarked websites for various tidbits of information about sublimation and most had outdated information too.
It took me a few more months to even hit that “purchase” button on my first sublimation equipment. It was because I was afraid it may be the wrong kind for what I wanted to do. Let’s face it, it is an expensive equipment and I wanted to make sure it really is the right one for what I wanted to make.
And now, I’ve been in the sublimation business for years and realized the need for a central source of information for the Basics of Sublimation and crafters shouldn’t have to scour the internet for bits and pieces of this type of information. You should not need months to comb the internet for the basic information you need in order to make an informed decision on how to get started on sublimation, how to design, and sublimation techniques.
Here at AtoZofSublimation, I gather and share all the information I’ve learned about sublimation. My goal is to become your one-stop source of sublimation knowledge and to save you time by giving you the answer to all your sublimation questions. We both know that your time is valuable and like you, I would rather be crafting than spending hours trying to find one simple answer to a sublimation question.
Because sublimation is constantly evolving, I continuously read, research, attend seminars, and go to Printing and Sublimation Expos (virtual and in-person). There are always new equipment, new ink, new techniques, and new substrates so it is important to stay current. I will share the most updated information so you also stay current.
